1991年愛知県生まれ。
3歳よりピアノを始め、浜松国際ピアノコンクール第3位、シドニー国際ピアノコンクール第5位ならびに3つの特別賞、リーズ国際ピアノコンクール5位、ボン・テレコム・ベートーヴェン国際ピアノコンクール第2位など受賞。

2005年、第3回東京音楽コンクールにおいて第1位ならびに審査員大賞(全部門共通)受賞、以来日本国内をはじめヨーロッパ各地で、オーケストラとの共演、ソロリサイタル、室内楽、古楽器による演奏活動を定期的に行い、その演奏は《類稀なる時間の感覚。まるで素晴らしい指揮者によるオーケストラの演奏を聴いているよう(パヴェル・ギリロフ)》《卓抜な詩的感性、そして哲学的叡智を具えた芸術家(濱田滋郎)》などと評されている。

録音は「遙かなる恋人に寄す
シューマン「幻想曲」からの展望(2011)、「夜の肖像」(2014)、「黄昏に-ブラームス/リスト/ベルク作品集 (2016) がそれぞれフォンテックから発売され、レコード芸術をはじめとする主要紙において好評を得ている。

愛知県立明和高等学校音楽科を経て東京藝術大学に入学、2011年よりベルリン芸術大学ピアノ科で学び最優秀の成績で卒業。
伊藤恵、Ewa PobłockaRainer Beckerの各氏に師事。現在はフランクフルト音楽舞台芸術大学に於いてJesper Christensen氏のもと、歴史的奏法の研究に取り組んでいる。

Born in Aichi(Japan) in 1991, Tomoki Kitamura began playing piano at the age of three.

Since he won the 1st prize(2nd prize was not awarded) and the Grand Jury Prize at the prestigious Tokyo Music Competition at the age of 14, he started his career in Japan.
Thereafter he has got prizes at important international piano competitions including Hamamatsu, Sydney and Leeds. In 2017 he won the 2nd prize at the international Telekom-Beethoven competition in Bonn.

Today Tomoki Kitamura constantly appears in the prestigious concert halls in Germany and Japan, also in Italy, France, Spain and Hollands as a recital pianist, soloist of orchestra , chamber music player, and also as a fortepianist..
His 3 solo CDs received favorable reviews on the prestigious magazines in Japan.

He has been learning Piano with Prof.Kei Itoh, Prof.Ewa Pobłocka and Prof.Rainer Becker.
After graduation his Diplom with the distinction from Universität der Künste Berlin in 2017, he continues his study with a big interest in the researching historical interpretation and instruments with Prof.Jesper Christensen at Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main.

Tomoki Kitamura wurde 1991 in Aichi/Japan geboren und begann im Alter von drei Jahren mit dem Klavierspiel.

Schon früh gewann er wichtige internationale Klavierwettbewerbe, so erspielte er sich den 3.Preis beim Hamamatsu Klavierwettbewerb(2006), den 5. Preis und Sonderpreis für die beste Interpretation der Werke Franz Schuberts und Zeitgenössischer Musik bei der Sydney International Piano Competition(2008), den 5. Preis der Leeds International Piano Competition(2015) und 2. Preis beim International Telekom Beethoven Competition Bonn(2017).

Seit er 2005 den 1.Preis (2.Preis nicht vergeben) und den Grand Jury Preis bei der renommierten Tokyo Music Competition(2015) gewann, gastiert Tomoki Kitamura als Solist mit renommierten Orchestern und tritt als Solist, Kammermusiker und Hammerflügelspieler in zahlreichen Konzertsälen in verschiedenen Länden Europas so wie Japan auf.
Seine drei Solo-Einspielungen wurden in Japan erhielten positive Kritiken in namhaften Magazinen in Japan.

Nach seinem Studium bei Prof. Kei Itoh in Japan setzte er sein Studium seit 2011 an der Universität der Künste Berlin fort, wo er 2017 sein Diplomstudium beim Prof. Rainer Becker mit der höchsten Auszeichnung abschloss.
Derzeit studiert Tomoki Kitamura historische Interpretationspraxis(Hammerflügel) bei Prof. Jesper Christensen an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main, sowie Klavier bei Prof.Ewa Poobłocka.
